Thanks for the Airflow directions. The previous owner of my 2013 Prius had installed the filter upside down because of the confusing markings on the cabin air filter cover.

Above the air filter i saw sponge , where i saw so much of dirty cotton like material but not cotton, is it so that the air filter is not cleaned since 18 years
