I have a mk6 Jetta tdi and I hate working on it but your videos give me the confidence to do it if I just take my time. I work on just about any type of machine but German cars are no fun. You make it look like a doable task. Watched your trans mount video and that earned a subscriber. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! After working on some other brands of vehicles, the German ones can be a real bummer. Play some music, have a drink, or whatever it takes to keep your sanity. You'll get it done.

I've gone as low as 2 bolts on the battery tray and no ill-effects. Given how many M6 bolts are on the car, maybe you'll get around to using either a M6 Helicoil, or drill out further and use a M6 riv-nut. to retain that 4th battery bolt. I know I have to drill out a few M6 bolts that broke on the intercooler brackets and radiator support, and install riv-nuts.

Hey thanks for the video! Were you noticing any issues while cold starting before doing this repair? My car has been having a tougher time to start this winter than passed years. Just popped the hood and the harness is completely off of one plug and half off of another. Thinking this might be the culprit.

Here in Florida, it doesn't get very cold. So cold starts aren't really a problem. But it can trigger a warning light. That said, a faulty glow plug harness absolutely can cause cold start issues.

new stuff is always nice except when you shouldnt need to do it. Have some chewed up things in the M3 engine bay from mice back in its first winter. It sucks

@@michaelblacktree Nah, was just the hood liner, and the rubber around some connectors. No wires were damaged, just aesthetics
