Probably gonna buy one. My old gas can was 15-16 years old, and it got a crack on it over the winter, and the new one I bought is the same Midwest one you bought. So annoying, and it spills so easily.

I had heard/seen that new gas cans came with these bizarro world non-working spout contraptions that everyone was always complaining about, but what I didn't also know, was that they don't even have the built in breather with cap either! Good grief that is just plain awful. I'm an old guy with a lifetime of built up gas cans, so thank heavens none of these "hacks" needed to pour fuel will be needed by me before combustion engines themselves are illegal, or in my remaining lifetime. (whichever comes first lol.)
