Thank you! the body shop broke my clip and just laid the part on top of the cowl. I was wondering what the ratteling noise was when driving.

Mine came loose in a wind storm on I-5 near Weed, California. The top part stayed connected, but it was flapping like a flag in a hurricane. I shoved it down as cars were wizzing by at 80 mph, and it's stayed down through a drive across Oregon. After watching your video to see if I did it right, I found that had bent one of the tabs that goes in the square hole, and the clip (that you break all the time) either snapped when it came loose or when I put it back. $7.57 for the part plus $10.95 shipping and handling. Maybe I'll call the dealer tomorrow.

What's the parts numbers for the side trim covers on each side of the windshield? I saw 91413 and 91413A in a service manual but cant find the parts anywhere

What clip do you need? There is also a gasket under the cowling do you know the part number for it

Would you be able to show how you would replace the following Subaru Forester exterior corner window trim piece? Mine is stained and I have the replacement part but not sure how to remove the current piece without breaking something Part Number 62134SG011 Corner Cover

Figured it out that you have to remove it from unscrewing from the inside

Same thing happened on mine but it was when they fixed one of the windshield fluid tubes

They broke those little tabs but didn’t tell me, so when I got on the highway both of them were flapping in the wind
