How to Replace an Outdoor Faucet | Aquor House Hydrant Exterior Faucet Installation

I have been looking for a good replacement to my leaky exterior faucet for several months and I'm happy to say the Aquor House Hydrant has been absolutely perfect! It was incredibly easy to install and has been simple to use. This video will go through the entire process of removing my old outside faucet and replacing it with the Aquor House Hydrant. The reasons I've been interested in using an Aquor system:
1. Frost and freeze-proof - the Aquor system automatically drains itself when you take the hose-connector off.
2. Leak-proof - there are no fittings outside, so there is nothing to leak from!
3. Kid-proof - it's much harder for your kids to mess around with the faucet. My kids love to turn the hose on without asking and disconnecting the hose connector has prevented them from using the water without permission.

Whenever you tape threads, put it on in the same direction as the threads. On that close nipple that came with your adapter, you should use two pieces. Thanks. Good job and Happy Baby.

When applying teflon tape to a fitting - hold the tape roll in your right hand with the tape hanging off away from you. Hold the fitting in your left hand, use your left thumb to hold the tape against the fitting and roll the tape with your right index finger through the middle of the roll and wrap over and around the fitting. The tape wrap will hold itself and you will be wrapping the proper direction for installation. You actually put the tape on backwards on the nipple.

every time i see an Aquor install everyone has this extremely convenient access to the plumbing. That in itself is 3/4 of the job there. If an when i decide to install These, I have a small nasty little crawl space with the floor being lined in instillation hiding the pipes. I guess these are good guides for getting an idea of what to look for when buying a new house ;)
