Thanks so much for this information mate just fixed me washing machine and Samsung wanted to charge £350 to fix this and they said it’s technical . Following your instructions and it was a 10 min job spot on mate thanks 🤙

Easy trick for getting the ascrew back in is to roll up a piece of cardboard and use it as a sleeve, put it in the access hole and and drop the screw down the middle.

My new paddles had bigger holes and so I had to use a bigger screw, but your instructions were all correct! I managed to fix my Samsung WW80TA049AE/WS with your video and man, that was really helpful!

Thanks for your this amazing video. I used it without repair. And it’s damaged my clothes. I saw your video and I fixed it. I spend just 3.5 euros and it’s work amazing. I used new screw. But my old screw is still missing.

Thank you so much. First I tried to remove it with power, no chance 🙂 Then I couldn't find a video in German. Now you saved me. I put a drop of hot glue on the screw to protect them to fall down. It works perfect. Merry X-Mas. Patric

Alas, on the Samsung model I have (had) - WF42H5200 - the hole at the top of the drum is at a slightly different place, underneath the dispenser box and closer to the back of the washer. It does not line up with the paddle screw. The drain hole at the bottom does not line up either. Faced with the task of removing/dismantling/reassembling the entire drum assembly as shown in another video, I chose to buy a new washer from a different vendor, and resolved never to buy another Samsung appliance. The engineer who created a design that requires deep disassembly to replace a simple plastic part should be made to repair 1000 washers for his sins.

Hi, Seen you videos they are very helpful. I have a samsung eco bubble 8kg which stop washing in mid cycle when I pause and play again washer spin couple of time right then left and stopped try every thing runed the test and CLB mode every thing is working fine sometimes CLB don't end properly.

Could you still use the machine with a hole in it if temporarily plugged it or just removed the paddle?

i have model WF42H 5200 AP/A2 a North American model and yes the holes did not lined up. As I was shining my light in the drum, one could see all the holes of drum looking down from the exposed top. I calculated where the screw lined up with the new lifter as a guide. Reviewed some other youtube videos… and the prospect of taking out the drum was a no go. Therefore, I decided to drill a “service” hole. Re sealed hole with plastic plug and duck-tape .

Q1 Hi could you let me know what screw to get to fix the paddle? I am doing a friend a favour by fitting a new paddle but the screw isn't there. I have watched your video 3 times and have gained confidence in the task. Now just need the screw to fix the paddle. Q2 my friend asked if she could use the washing machine while waiting for the repair? Many thanks.

You can use a screw starter to put the screw in...it will hold the screw until you tighten it and it will release.

They are normally similar, but you need to find how it is locked into place on the drum
