Procedure to replace automatic transmission fluid for 6 speed transmission | Peugeot modal 308,3008,408,508,5008 and 208 puretech 6 speed.
Transmission fluid needs to be changed form time to time in order to extend the life of the transmission | usually every 30.000km need to change ( check your manual book for service interval. ) | When the transmission fluid gets old you might have trouble shifting or your car may get sluggish.

The drain plug looks to me like it’s the level aswell, fill it up! until it starts coming out that tube on the bung I’m guessing.

Didnt the gearbox is over filled with atf? The mid screw is for levelling.

1.Accurate is 2.9 liter but 3 liter also can 2.there is rubber Oring change every 3rds atf service

Alright thanks. Never know the box actually call for 3 litres of ATF only. I saw many pour in 3.5litre without following the stream and drip procedure. As for the drain plug rubber O ring, are they special order, or a normal black O ring which fit the size would do?

There is a level to fill up. This is not shown in the video but the replaced oil should be warm up with engine on and the small screww should be removed. extra oil will be poored.

I went to peugeot dealer to buy the transmission oil you said this morning and they were surprised I wanted JWS 3324.. They checked my vin and insisted I should buy 75w80 same as manual gearbox works with? I'm not saying I trust them but I'm confused again.. They also said there is a seperate reservoir with different fluid to work with semi-automatic solenoids etc... What to do?

Is this an automatic (EAT6) or a semi-automatic (ETG6)? If EAT6 is all the oil coming out of the gearbox by this method? As far as I know, new oil should be poured on the upper plug until it appears on the lower plug, so we are sure we have new oil in EAT6? My car 1.6 bluehdi EAT6 has traveled 155000km and the oil in the gearbox has never been changed, so I don't know what to do because some experts say if I change the oil there may be problems with the transmission, because currently impurities in the gearbox seal some things and the gearbox is still working great.
