I don't recall the vehicle, I think maybe a 99 Mustang GT, but I did a read hub on a car that the axle nut called for I think 300 or 330 ft-lbs of torque straight away. So your 60 + 1/4 being over 250 seems reasonable to me. Appreciate the removal and replacement video, very helpful. Thanks.

A cold chisel to spread those pinch bolt flanges has that assembly fall off the shock without hammering.

I would like to know I have a 2008 Montana when I turn the key off my Park light in my brake light in the back on the passenger side stay on I have to take a fuse out so does not kill my battery and my rear wiper goes all the time to do you have a something that I can look for it or what how I can fix it

I wish I could do it this way on my focus . I have a 03 with the 2.3 my wheel bearing is in the knuckle instead of in the hub on my 2003 the wheel lug nut torque is 94 ftlbs and the hub nut is 233 ftlb this is as per the ford factory shop manual for my year

Ford manual asks to replace all hardware bolts in this install and it just doesn't make any sense. Also I was a little confused on tightening the wheel hub nut - whether its tightened when the car is lifted - with someone pressing the brave vs when its on the ground

You should snug the wheel up with the vehicle in the air, then once on the ground properly torque the lug nuts with a torque wrench.
