I have been searching for hours for MODE door actuators, meaning floor, dash vents, or defrost, because my 2015 RAM is only ever blowing out of the defrost vents no matter where I put it. But all I can find are these blend door videos for hot/cold air mixture and temperature. Can anyone tell me where the mode door actuator is located?

I have a 2006 ram 2500....the A/C blows ice cold but not very much from facing vents....its blowing from floor vents harder and also rear blows fine....it will not just blow from face vents even if you put it on face only still blows in floor the hardest.....blend door above glove compartment works fine

Mine mode actuator wasn't ticking, but wasn't working. I changed the bottom right one, and it fixed the problem. Thxs for the video

Thanks for showing this procedure. My '17 temp control sticks, usually too hot. Have to run it way down until it's cold, then up. Sounds like that device right there is the problem, and can be verified just by watching the white piece.

My situation seems to be the opposite of what most are saying on here. Passenger side blows hot but drivers side is cool (not cold) would the actuator in this video be responsible for this?

Can you do a video on taking the entire dash out and replacing the heater core and all of that as well? I haven’t found too many helpful videos on taking the dash apart and I’d rather not ruin it but I believe my heater core is my issue.

I have a/c but no heat. New fan clutch, new water pump, new thermostat and multiple heater flushes. No leaks or smell of coolant. This particular blend door seems to be working. Its up on heat and down on cold. What is your thoughts on the root cause?

Could you show a complaint, where (2014 dodge ram 1500) set on heat: driver vent in the dash give poor air flow with not much heat, yet strong volume of hot air flow on passenger side vent. Does any body ever had that type of problem? I liked your video it was clear to understand and a good perspective of parts orientation.

I replaced mine, made sure it was on cold and did the steps to calibrate it. Now when I start the truck it makes a loud clicking noise and takes a while to start pumping cold air out. What did I do wrong?

Do not adjust the actuator before installation. You need to calibrate them after installing them.

Same issue here and it isn't dual zone.
