How to replace Blend Door Motor Ford Escape

I have a issue with heat not getting hot enough for Kansas winters the car lot im buying from wants $ to fix it even though i had told them about it when i bought it you think replacing blend door would fix it? 2005 xlt escape it doesn't overheat or it doesn't have any antifreeze leaks

Do you have forscan? If not is the heat hot enough from any of the outlets or defroster? If its not hot anywhere it is probably a leaking thermostat.

@darylturcott it's same temperature from all sources. And I'm pretty sure nothing is leaking

Im going to guess the thermostat isnt holding the internal temperature at 190 like it should. Only way to tell is a scan gauge, or forscan

It's not stuck open or closed car temp runs normal possibly stuck in middle. It gets to temperature normal no coolant leaks it gets warm but not hot. The ac worked decent in summer

Got a 2007 Ford Excape bought a new blend Door acurator but can't find the location of the old one. It's not located like it shows in the video! Fuse box and harness up against console but No acurator?

I have a 2005 Ford Escape XLT 3.0L and the system runs on vent or heat. When I turn the AC on it turns the heat off but the AC doesn't turn on but the compressor locks in as it should. That makes me think it is the blend door motor not working. Where is it located in my vehicle?
