2013 to 2021 ford fusion ac blows hot one sise and cold one side. Bad blend door motor, all blend door motor have the same part.

This job takes around 8 to 9 hours to do removing the dashboard. This job is extremely hard to do if you have big hand and its very award position because its in a very tight spot. If you have enough patience, you can get it done in less than 1 hour. Tools you only need a philip bit, a 3 inch 1/4 extension, a stubby 1/4 ratchet and a 1/4 gimbal ratchet. Everything cost less than $100 for tools. Wish you luck if you doing it yourself. You can buy all these tools at oreily or autozone store.

Which ever mode or switch that you commanding on and its not working. Example if the "mode" feet, face, windshield when you command it on and it is not working, then its that blend door.

The gimbal I bought from harbor freight store, they have a set of 3 pieces. You have to buy the 1/4 drive adapter to bit drive at any stores, Home Depot, autozone or oreilys, they have it or amazon online too.

Do you know if there is another blend door actuator before passenger and driver door actuators? Both of mine are both functioning properly, but i am still getting hot air out of driver side rather than A/C.

If the car have its own temp on each side, driver side have its own temp and passenger side have its own temp, then theres 2 blend door motors. In the video, the car im working on, theres only 1 temp knob controls both side. If yours have 2 temp knobs then theres 2 blend door motor for each side. If your is the same as the one im working on, and if your is still not working after you replaced the part, either the new part is defected or you did not line up the gear teeth correctly. Buy OEM part, dont buy aftermarket part.

I dont think theres a rear ac control unit for the rear on a fusion. I never see one.

The defrost for the windshield is the "mode" blend door actuator.
