My 09 Durango blower motor blows sometimes and sometimes it Don't. When I bang on it works lol. Do any of you know what it could be?

well dang, I did not know getting at that motor was that easy. Mines broken and vibrates terribly. Might just pop it out and get a replacement installed.

I don't get why you had to remove the trim? It looks like you could totally see the wire and the where it clips to the blower and when you put it back it didn't seem like it was in the way at all, but I guess I'll see when I get to it, thanks for all you guys do.

Does anyone’s blower motor have little metal tabs on the fan blades? The oem part only had one on the inside of the fan blades and aftermarket park came with about 3 on outside of fan blades

No nest, reason for dismantal but I did rinse fins and blow out with air compressor. Huge dust cloud came out behind fins. (Between black plastic housing and once white fins) Went to start it with same blower and it blows 3x as hard! 😂

What is the name of the box the fan go in . Like a series of stupidity bad comments. The "box" was destroyed need to know what it called it the two pieces .
