My mechanic literally quoted $440 for the labor, resistor, blower and cabin filter. I just found all the parts I needed for under $90. About to save a good amount of money after this video. Thank you.

Went without A/C or heater for 2 years. Fairly easy fix due to your clear instructions, that rear screw was tough to get to. Thanks!

Rather than use an 8mm socket and ratchet I found it easier to just use a T25 Torx screwdriver to take out the three screws holding the blower in place. I didn't have to replace mine but I wanted to make sure that there was nothing binding in the motor assembly before replacing the resistor module which on my car had 2 out of 3 segments failed due to old age. So far the heater has been working well.

My resistor on my 95 accord lx was on top. I’m replacing it hoping that’s what’s keeping my new compressor from kicking on bc everything else is good

Wasn’t the resistor I have the temp control module otw so hopefully that fixes it bc I changed the high low sensor as well still no function on the compressor

Great video brother. Next time replace the resistor first so you don't need that tool to pull the little pin. Plus the fan motor would go in a lot easier. Bada a bing bada boom.

What if the blower motor only operates on slow speed? Doni change the resistor or the blower motor or both?

Possability could be resistive or switch not sure about motor but I would do some electric testing but u will be there for long time and spend on testers so start with replacing resistor

@RBTheMechanic mine is making a knocking noise on the passenger side. While I am driving, I turn up my ac, and it seems like my car wants to shut off while using the air. So I have to turn the ac off. I replaced the compressor 3 years ago, and just this year, my ac has been blowing cold air, but I have run into this issue now. By what I been told, it might be a blower motor or actuator, not sure.

@@isauravalencia9562 it could be blower motor making the noise but even if blow was bad or making noise or getting jammed it wouldn’t make any issues with car trying to cut off but compressor can I would check to see where about the noise is coming from
