How To Replace Broken Wheel Studs (Andy’s Garage: Episode - 402)

Andy Phillips shows how to easily replace a broken wheel stud. These can break when lug nuts are too tight and pressure is needed to remove them. Driving with less than the amount required is dangerous; replacing them is needed.

Great job as always. I always use a c clamp prior to removing the caliper. Makes it easier when it is still installed on knuckle. just a little push is all you need. Great video, nice & clear & to the point.

Very good explanation The problem is usually caused by places that repair punctured tires that over tighten the wheel nuts
