Yay as a female I changed it although I had to remove two extra screws underneath the hinges of the glove compartment box. I had to flex the bar a little because the left screw didn't budge but all in all it was easy. I'm happy because the filter was very dirty and the air does blow way better. When you change the air filter also change the cabin filter.

You could've mentioned the plastic molding that's in front of the metal brace and had to be CUT OUT to remove.

I pulled the bar on the right side, up. Pulled hard enough, and bent the bar a bit, and it was out of the way. What a terrible design by Honda.
