The Fusion takes a Group T5 and cranking amps of 590 CCA. It is always a good idea to install a battery with a higher CCA rating since it will usually last longer and provide better performance in tougher climate conditions.

I’ve always done the positive first. It really doesn’t matter which one you do first, just make sure you don’t touch any metal parts on the car when doing the positive.

My is dead at work it's-6 out 5 yr old battery and when I tried to start it, barley crank, then when I shut the car door the horn beeps, I assume it's the battery, it been hard cranking for a bit , so I hope that's my problem

WHY do auto parts stores say “professional installation required”?

Usually if a battery isn't right in the open they say professional installation is required because you may have to remove other things/parts to get at the battery .

Question I followed all instructions battery is installed and car works perfect. But when I turn off the car I get this message? Do you know why? “Battery saver. Start engine or turn ignition off” do I have to manually reset my battery life in the car or something? Or did I put the battery in wrong? Help pls

You definitely want to make sure you have the proper battery for your car. Once the proper battery is installed, you might have to do a BMS reset on your battery. To manually reset the BMS with no scanner on a Ford, turn the ignition on, hit your brights five times and then touch your brake three times. If that doesn't work you'll have to reset it with a scanner.

Replacing your vehicle's battery typically resets the (ECM)/(BCM), if the battery has been disconnected for 10 to 15 mins. If not you'll have to reset your (ECM)/(BCM) manually using a scan tool.
