"Just undo the plug-ins." Well, these have almost no slack so you will likely have a difficult time. The one on the left towards the driver, push DOWN to disengage the plug-in, whilst the one on the right, pull the tab UP to release it. It's near impossible to see in advance of trying. First, do the right most connector, which will free up enough room the do the left. When reinstalling, do the right most first, then the left.

if my heater is having issues producing heat, and I am certain it is not the heater core, would replacing the climate switch as you are showing here remedy the issue? thank you

There is always the possibility that it is the climate control. Maybe try and move it from hot to cold or cold to hot and see if you notice any temp change. Other than that simple check I couldn’t help you there. Thanks for watching

1991 Silverado 1500 ,My A/C ,Blower Positions Work Fine, Never Thought about the Control Plate Lighting Up, I need to Review that...But My issue is the HEATER IS NOT GETTING HOT AT ALL...... The switch that blows the ac towards my face recently went out in my truck. All the other switches (defroster, face and feet, etc. work) would you recommend me doing this?

You have a vacuum line leak that goes ac u can manually move it or just try find hose that broke replace it your truck ac is in basically default mode right now

Why did you do it. I've replaced blower restrictor and blower fan, I'm thinking the only thing left is the control unit

​@@michaelhill2844can't remember exactly what it was doing.. But replacing the whole control unit fixed it, I think it wasn't blowing except on high.. Sorry sold the truck and bought a GMC Sierra Denali.

I got a 2001 silverado hd My climate control went dead,The fan blower works ,But no heater no A/c lights dont turn on just dead,Bought a new module and same thing anyone have ideas?Checked all fuses and breakers all good.
