Thanks, I was struggling to get it out, but watched your vid and a putty knife tip worked out. Put one at top and bottom and screw driver for the one side and it popped right out!

Really clear video. Appreciate it. Do you know if I can just replace the detergent door that moves? The button is missing that locks it in place. A general dishwasher question as well: Is it true you should not throw pods in the bottom of the dishwasher, that they should always go in the door? Thanks!!

The individual components like the lock button are not sold separately. The pods should be put into the dispenser so that the detergent is dispensed at the correct timing during the cycle for the best wash performance.

@@PartsDr Thanks. I didn't think I could only buy the button. I was talking about the door. I've taken the door out already to try to fix the spring and then recognized the button was missing. Appreciate your advice.

Great video, could you explain replacing just the spring? The spring and gasket came out of mine. I’ve got it all cleaned and the gasket back in, but I’m not sure of the positioning of the spring.

This dispenser isn't designed to be taken apart, so we do not have further instructions on how to disassemble it. Let us know if you figure it out.

@@draked4820I looked for the spring only but couldn’t find so replaced the whole thing. Took the old one apart and it broke removing the lid so I guess you have to buy the whole thing.
