Great video! I have the exact same boat and I hear my motor running but it still doesn't trim. I will remove the motor and see if an o ring has failed or whatever. I'm more confident now to tear into it because of your shared video.

Glad it helped, thanks for sharing with me. It is good when a video can somehow help. It may need oil or you could have a gasket / o ring failed. You also may need to bleed the line, I mean remove any air in the lines and pistons.

Great video, having the same issue. removed my motor but haven't tried to clean it yet. Have you been able to find a replacement motor? I cannot seem to find the same motor ..hopefully cleaning works.

Hello, I was able to find a 3rd party motor that would definitely work, but in the end of the day I did not need to buy a motor because after cleaning the motor it worked great, I already tested and it is running perfectly, I know it is a long video but watch it and you will see. I also could not find the original volvo penta motor.

@@felipezafani Thank you, hoping cleaning will do the trick. Would you happen to have a link to the 3rd party motor you found in case i need to replace it? I ordered one but upon further inspection it looks like the shaft is different, even though it says for all Volvo Pentas.

There is a non original motor at Amazon that I was going to buy not sure if it is a direct fit! Volvo only sells the full assembly as far as I know and it is very expensive.

dude you need to get rebuild kit for that thing else all those gasket and o ring going to be leaking internally which going cause the drive to either not go up or creep back down by it self because it may loose pressure.

I just put a new one on and it's louder now is than common?

Hola soy de Mexico ,subo el trim y lo bajo funciona bien pero si lo subo hasta el limte arriba se emieza a bajar despacio, pero si le doy un toque despacio hacia abjo ya no se baja ?

Hi, I'm from Mexico. I raise the trim and lower it, it works fine, but if I raise it to the upper limit, it starts to go down slowly, but if I give it a slow touch down, it doesn't go down anymore. Could it be that I already changed the plastic washers?

Could be or the fluid level is low, check the fluid level on the hydraulic pump, it could be the reason it is going down low

The system is self bleed, to make it easy all you need to do is remove the entire thing and those oring need to be change also.

I’ll look for it. I don’t recall the part number since I was able to fix the
