I thought this thing had a timing belt not a serpentine belt.

@@adammetzger4182 Every car has a timing belt( timing chain) wich is internal. The serpentine belt is on the outside turning the alternator, water pump, a/c compressors, power stearing.

Excellent. Thank you. I have the 2015 Ford Escape 2.5L. Worked perfectly. I used the Lisle 59370 Stretch Belt Remover which has a magnet to help hold it onto the flywheel. Also, make sure you have one of those button remover tools!!! I thought I could do it without one, but had to go out and get one mid-project.

I don't think that belt is a stretch belt like on newer models, that a/c compressor needed to be loosened to properly install belt, it should never be about getting the job done quickly but correctly. UPDATE : at the parts store today to find out the compressor belt can not be loosened to install new belt, it does need that install tool . thanks for making and sharing this video , a good learning tool for a guy like me ready to tackle this job.

at 8:31 do you mean the Serpentine Belt should be the inner side of the crank shaft, but you said outside I was a little confused. Is it just typo?

It looks like it went on the outside of the pulley, it should be tracking straight when you put it on.
