Thank you so much for this video. Me and my 2 friends did the front brakes easily on my 2002 Honda civic. You saved me 200-300 in labor! Thank you ❤

Really like the video. Good editing and camera angle. Straightforward. No music. Your calm voice is pleasant to listen to. I appreciate that you also noted the torque specs for caliper and bracket. All around, really well done!!!

Nice detailed video. I was changing the brakes on my moms 2004 Civic and I noticed the guide pins for the caliper were in two different positions. Do you know if the metal guide pin is supposed to go on the top or bottom?

Hi, do I need to compress the brake caliper again?

Thanks to this video I’ve successfully done my brakes for the first time surprisingly wasn’t that hard at all, Is it normal for the brakes to smell/ smoke after a drive ? I’ve made sure to double check my work putting everything back on just wanna make sure that’s normal
@backyardchevy32827 күн бұрын
No, u might wanna make sure the brake pad is installed properly, making sure the brake material is against the rotor and not with metal side contacting rotor
@TheNexxGenBoys27 күн бұрын
@@backyardchevy328is it possible that I didn’t get all the coating off the rotors ? I made sure the brakes were in contact with the rotors I’ll check tomorrow morning but I just came to work and seen no smoke but there was a smell, also there’s no funny or unusual noise when driving
