This was by far the best video & most detailed video I've seen on KZbin explaining how to change brakes!! Thank you!!! Edit: I'm female & went off your list of tools & everything needed to get the job done & I changed my front & back brakes & rotors for first time in my life with no problem. Only thing that ended up being a little bit of a struggle was not being strong enough to get some bolts unscrewed so I just wd40 them & waited a few & piece of cake. I was quoted $800 for front/back brakes/rotors (i swear cuz im female mechanics try to take advantage of that). It ended up costing me $285 for parts & a little less than $100 for tools so now in future all I need is parts. $385 compared to $800 which is like $200 each brake/rotor & I coulda got shit brands but I got one of the top of the line brake sets. Thanks again for the detailed instructions!!

I like how the tire went back on with the old dirty rotor in place… The torque specs were a nice touch! Thank you.

I think very few shop will be willing to spend the time cleaning and lubricating the caliber pins like you did. That's why I wish I could change my own brakes. 😂

if you don’t have the piston presser tool, u can also use a C clamp and put the old brake pad against the piston and compress it tht way💯

Thanks my friend but why you have back the old rotor at the end ?? ...Subscribed !

Wouldn't cleaning the rubber with the brake cleaner cause the rubber to deteriorate faster over time?

No grease where the pads slide in the hardware or where the caliper hits the pads?

Question: Is it a bad idea to open the brake fluid can lid to compress the calipers at installation time instead open the caliper drain plug?

Good video, but NEVER put antiseize on your wheel studs. That will result in pressure against the threads well beyond specs when you torque the lugs. That's why it's best to use antiseize from a jar with an applicator brush vs aerosol. Otherwise good/detailed video.

Nice work, it helped a lot, major components needed to this is patience and being handy with tools otherwise I suggest you go to a shop! Brakes are a difference maker,,,, You need to be able to stop!!!!!!

Was there someone holding the pedal down after you pumped your brakes for bleeding the air. Not real clear how you did that? Like the video.

NGL.. I thought it was the same piston compressor used on a dodge charger. Didn't have it nor did I open the bleeder screw, and was still able to grip the piston with my hands, until the piston was compressed enough to finish the job. Not bad. Some sore forearms tho. Feel like thats better than possibly letting air in. Leave it closed use man power and get it done.
