I have no handyman skills and nothing but a phillips and flathead screwdriver and i got it off in 20 minutes. Hardest part was the bottom clips. Thank you so much for this

Just a tip for anyone doing this, buy new push pins for the air dam. After prying them out with the trim tool they were too loose to reattach firmly to the new grill bezel. I tried replacing mine during the evening when all the auto parts stores are closed and had to wait until the following morning to get new pins.

after watching this vid, 3 time's, I was able to change my 2003 F150 honeycomb grill, to the grill, look's like My old 99 F250 grill, in about 20 minute's, and my real truck looking grill, now matches lower bumper center opening, with same vertical line's !! LOOK'S NEW AND RIGHT !! several of 1A Auto's vid's have helped me !! THANK YOU !! ONLY WISH WAY SHARE PIC'S !!!! but only let's me comment !! used y'all part's n vid's, THANK'S !!!

This video made it easy to change my 2000 f150 grill and lights. It was frustrating trying to get the screws lined up insering the headlights though. Easy job anyone can do.

You don't have to remove head lights. Just a hint, helps with the nightmare of putting them back in.

my 1998 XL has a center grill that has two little hex bolts or at least it looks like them on the outside I think there's two of them just one on the right and one on the left are these just for looks or what because it looks like I can unscrew those two bolts and remove the center grill and that's what I want to do I want to change that little centerpiece. I don't mind the Ford emblem at all but I might want to do an emblem delete grill and I don't want to replace the whole assembly that goes over the lights I don't need all that I have a nice chrome one. so can I take the center grill piece out or what?

From your description, it sounds like you may have a different design on your application as the grille reflected in the video is one solid piece and does not have any hex bolts that you had referred to. It does not appear we would have the proper information you are looking for.

See the Ford Truck Enthusiasts forum for detailed info. BTW expect the locking tabs for headlight connectors to disintegrate due to age. They aren't strictly necessary. I dab dielectric grease on all electrical connector prior to reconnection to prevent corrosion and stuck connectors in future.

Isn't that new grill from the 97 Expedition. 97 Expedition has the concaved grill with the square slats whereas the F150 has a more flatter look and has the "x" checker look
