Awesome presentation! I've always found it more time consuming to get the pressed in items out, as opposed to the rest of the job. Patience and of course the right tools for the job. If you don't take your time and try to rush the job, or don't have the proper tools, you can easily ruin the new part's, or create a more frustrating situation. As the saying is. Slow as she goes! 👨‍🔧💖

Nice presentation! uhh I saw the bottom of the C clamp cup wasn't seating straight, otherwise press would have taken out no problem. You couldn't see it from top. I have the same BJ on 2004 Silverado 1500 and it's Original BJ. the lower CA, BJ is stacked just like what you did. ☺

been beating on my knuckle to try and release the upper since yesterday afternoon lol it was replaced earlier this year dont get why its so stuck.... need to do the lowers but this is preventing me any suggestions?

Can you replace wheel bearings while you have knuckle removed? I just watched your video on the same vehicle on replacing wheel bearings and it seems as if you didn way more work vs just removing the whole knuckle.

@@TRQ Just had mine replaced. Mechanic hit knuckle, cracking knuckle $600.00 later fixed. Did this because of squeak. Expensive squeak.

Dude…. Nice work… however I just changed mine… yeah, my press along with torch still didn’t push it out… I ended up cutting the top off the lower ball off… drilling a hole thro it , pounding the ball out, cutting the side out with a sawzall , and hammer and punch it out… the upper joints pressed out usual… the lower ones??? Hell no!

Warning: I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd. The lower ball joints CANNOT BE REMOVED OR REPLACED!!! You will need to replace the lower control arm - they are around $100 per side with ball joint included.
