Noticed a knocking noise in my wife's front end and immediately thought, sway bar link... strut... ball joint.... never would have thought it'd be the motor mount! Doing the repair this weekend. This video likely saved me a few hundred bucks :) Thanks!

Stripped the bolt that goes into the engine bay on the small silver bracket what do I do now ? Threads are messed up?

How did you diagnose that the mount was bad?

Mines obvious because when I press the pedal quickly you can hear a knock or basically anytime weight transfers from the front or back or vice versa.

I'm tired of these damn things going out. Had to replace mine 3 times and a 4th is needed. They're all bad, no matter who makes it or sells it. Even OEM mounts don't last but a few years. Just a flawed design.

If remove this mount ,engine will drop enough to reach belt tensioner bolt ?

why do u remove the bottom mount if ur not going to replace it?

3 17 mm bolts is all it takes. No need to remove the brace
