To remove mine I used a ball joint press and pressed them out with a socket that had a matching outer diameter as the bushing. It worked well. 👍

You didn't replace the sway bar bushings while they were easily accessible?

is it necessary to add additional support to the motor or is it supported with additional supports when you remove the subframe

Not required. The motor mounts are not connected to this part.
