Super Helpful. Thank you. I replaced my tank yesterday, and did it with the bed removed, which was not necessary, and truth is you still have to do everything from underside, on a crew-cab, anyway.

I saw a trick a guy talked about when the fuel pump goes out that you can take a mallet and hit the heck out of the tank while cranking to try and get it to start, he says it works 9 out 10 times but then i come here and see that this 03 f150 crew has the metal shield over the tank so Im wondering if I could even hit it hard enough through the shield to get the pump to reengage itself. Do you know if teh metal shielding is in contact with the tank or if there is a gap?

Does the filler hose go flush against the tank? When I put the other end of the hose on the filler neck it would not slide over all of the shiny part of the neck where the old hose was.

Do you have a video on how to replace the lines that connect to the 2 breathers and go to the evap system. Like the steel lines on the frame?

Does 1A Auto sell a "loaded" tank with a new fuel pump, sensors, etc? Also got a link to the straps? Mine are the original ones from the recall...which was never done at a dealership, lol. My gas tank likes to leak a little when it's absolutely at the full mark until I drive it a few miles- I'm assuming the seal around one of the protrusions is leaking, or it's a vent hose, etc.

Hello, Where can I get a replacement breather valve for 2003 Ford Expedition? I just removed the fuel tank 3/4 full and the only damage was the breather valve partially broken. .. I know for sure I can repair with JD weld
