Question: When replacing a sensor, in my case a nox sensor ,do I have to reset it with a computer or can just replace it without any regeneration? There's no engine light.Just were recommended to replace Nox sensors

As for the PM Sensor. It will have to be reset with a Laptop. I am not sure about the Nox Sensor.

Purchase it from your local Hino Dealer. Remember it will need to be program to the ECM once it is replaced. Your Vehicle may qualify to have it replace for free.

Hi my friend one more time how are you??I need your help,my 2013 hino 258 has the check engine ligt on and i put it an sacanner and it is giving me the codes P2215 and P2214 which are related to the nox sensor from the bank 2 but i dont know which one is the bank 2 if it is the one installed on the big burner or the one on the smaller burner.Do you know???🙏🙏

@juliorives6107 Good morning, When you look at the Nox Sensors. The one that is closer to the Engine is bank 1. The next one in-line is bank 2. I hope that helps Thanks

Question I’m having a p2216 NOx Sensor Circuit High Bank 2 Would that mean my sensor isn’t working anymore ?

You may have a malfunction Sensor. First thing I would check the connectors for dirt and make sure it is connected good. Also check the Wire Harness for burnt due to being around the Exhaust System.

Have a question on a P244A code. whats the diag procedure?

It maybe your Exhaust Pressure Sensor. If the Pressure is too low. It will send a P244A code.

Replaced the sensor but the code was never reset, so the engine light came back up. Is that normal? Should the system automatically read the newly replaced unit?
