The transmission fluid needs changed , just drain and add 2.5 quarts . Lots of video how to do

Change the transmission filter as well. Then wait about 5 days and change another 2.5 qt I had the same issue and it helped a lot but remember to use Honda transmission fluid

I just bought my vtec solenoid a couple months ago and my cars in limp mode again. I'm gonna try a new gasket and see if it works. 🙃

could also be valve cover gasket if you are leaking out oil and you loose enough the vtec is operated off oil pressure so it will go im limp mode and not use vtec either hope its fixed

@@anarasii My bad! No joke, this engine I'm working on is SO covered in oil I couldn't find the bolt. I thought it was buried/hard to get to...y'know--something you'd want to include in a tutorial. But no...just completely camouflaged by a horrific oil leak.

Clean the engine w/some brake cleaner and than check where is the oil coming from it maybe some else leaking.
