question, did tyou remove the speed sensor at all during this installation, i'm doing all 4 of mine as i feel my wheels are too too tight and have little please (seems like there alto of friction). When i hit the gas and let go the pedal and car starts to slow down like is i'm on the brake pedal, my other cars slow down a bit too but mainly just coast, this one slows down as if i'm pressing on the brake. I also installed new rotos, and pads.

Good day David and yes. The speed sensor has to be removed. I mentioned it in the video. 10mm. Also, to have that kind of drag when taking your feet off the gas and no noise is possible but I would think there would be some sort of sound. Lift the car and spin each tire as well as grip opposite ends of the tires and push in and out to check for play…. You also mentioned a recent break job. Make sure the spring clips are pushing the pads away from the rotor when brakes are not engaged. That’s a common mistake and another check for where that drag is coming from before tackling the wheel hub job. The rotor job is fairly simple. I have the all wheel drive that has an opening for the spline. Keep that in mind. I hope that helps and if you have not please subscribe? Let me know your fix when you figure it out. I’m going to pin your comment to the top. Thanks again for watching.

@@TRRehab Subscribed!!!! When you say rotor job are you referring to the rear drunk brake thing in the rear caliper? another thing I've noticed... when braking as the car is coming to a halt, once in a blue when its almost about to stop theres like of a alight jerk or thud, i cant pinpoint where its coming from.

@@DTUFINOPhotography I meant to say wheel hub job not rotor.

10/25/24; See ur channel for the first time today. Must say that urs is the best and the most clear cut understanding of any yet. Thank you for putting this out there. I have a 2009 fx35, and I will try it myself. I am not a mechanic, but you gave me confidence. I am in the ORLANDO area, and down here I can not find an honest person mechanic or otherwise yet to do any kind of work. THE PEOPLE HERE ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS. And they MOSTLY do NOT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH. So sorry, I had to leave NYC. I am an old man, and the cold up there is causing me sickness. Dont know where you are still, but hope to find some one here with some honesty like yourself. Thnx, and may God bless you still.

Great tutorial ! I've done this job twice on my old infiniti and need a refresher course on my newer infiniti. Thanks you sir. My Local shop quoted me 3.5 hour for this job when I've done this in an 1.5. ... I just need some reassurance nothing has changed with models.

You’ve made this job so simple and I know the repair cost is greatly high. I greatly appreciate you for this video. I’m new to Infiniti and just purchased a QX70 this year ago. I will be tuned to more future videos regarding the 2nd gen. Many blessings to you!!! I hope this applies to 2014-2017 model years as well… It should be all the same but the change of the name.

Thanks Kevin for watching and yes, it is pretty much the same as the QX70. I have a list in the description. It really is that simple. Removing and installing the spacer is a whole nother video. The only thing I would do different is use my impact gun. It was a U -Know-What getting that axel nut off! My videos are not for the so called professionals. I make them for people like myself. Tired of getting my arm cut off by the dealerships!

Very helpful video, thanks. Love how everything is tightened by feel. :) Its nice how those bolts break loose when you don't live in a rust prone area. Also great idea putting some anti seize lubricant on the axle while you have it out. The axles on some of these cars tend to make a clicking sound when turning or accelerating, especially the rear.

2007 Infiniti FX35 AWD My brakes are weak/spongy This happened after I changed the FRONT wheel bearings. The brake lines show no signs of leakage. The system has completely flushed (bled) through all the brake lines until the new brake fluid was coming out the bleeders. (No old brake fluid in the system whatsoever) We bled the system for abt 6 hours thinking it was the issue. Brake fluid is cleaner than new Nikes. The Master Cylinder has been replaced New rotors have been put on all around New brake pads have been put on all around. No Brake light No Abs light No Check Engine Light Any ideas?

Why did you decide to use a breaker bar instead of an impact gun? I’m needing to do this and have both but my Milwaukee should make it easier
@TRRehab
@TRRehab 2 жыл бұрын
yeah an impact gun would be a lot easier but not everyone has a impact gun. Most of my videos are for the average everyday people with little to no experience with repairs. I like to show that most jobs you can do with little to no experience.

@@TRRehab that was my conclusion as well. You don’t find many fx/qx videos with detailed instructions. Really enjoy this video and look forward to many more. They will help the community exponentially as I see it growing with many choosing to work on them more. Subbed and will recommend this channel more. A couple of humble suggestions: - Torque specs for those of us that are a bit more thorough. - Parts compatibility with their G or Nissan counterparts. - afíliate links to parts used. I’d purchase - video series with all the common maintenance needed on these vehicles i.e. valve covers, oil pan, oil cooler o ring, radiator, etc etc Thanks and continue the good work

Looks like I’ll be doing that again…. I have a few more repair videos for the Infiniti that needs editing. Subscribe, maybe 1 will help. Oh and make sure you keep your oil changed.
