How To Replace Mazda 3 Cabin Air Filter (2010-2013)-Easy Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to replace the Mazda 3 cabin air filter. The process is really simple, but the filters are tucked away in a tight area of the car, so you have to get down low within the passenger side of the vehicle in order to replace them. The only reason that I had some difficulty replacing them towards the end of the video is because I was having trouble seeing the filters and I was putting the second one in place in the wrong orientation. However, after some fiddling, I go it to get in place properly. Just so that you know, I went out and bought new filters and replace the dirty ones later on that evening after filming the video. I just wanted to film this so that I had some practice for when I was actually replacing the filters. When I had replaced them later on that evening, it took a couple of minutes and went a lot more smoothly.

Actually started belly laughing at the trouble you had installing;). Used yours and a couple of others as review, and yours was most realistic of what it takes if you havent done this before. Installed twice over the years and lack of space to lie comfortably makes you have to contort in claustrophobic space…then if filters aren’t perfectly aligned and placed, it dont work. 😡.

So, I bought the replacement air filter at an auto parts store after being told how simple it is to DIY. After watching this video, I will be asking and paying a mechanic to do this for me. Thank you for the instructions and the time you took to put this together but, NOPE. 😅
