Bought their power steering pump and it looks better built than the stock one and no plastic hose connector that fails over time. (Mines getting replaced as that plastic part failed and is leaking.) Definitely buying parts from them in the future! Would recommend.

Nice video by the way, but always recommend ppl to use OEM parts before trying to sell your aftermarket products, not offence or anything like it but parts like power steering pumps are recommend to be replaced with OEM parts, because the lock of performance testing are unknown from those aftermarket companies, yes you'll save some cash but don't forget that will be you and may your family behind the steering wheel!. Again aftermarket parts are good till a point. Great job and yes I'll keep buying from you guys, best place to buy aftermarket parts.

Curious if I should be replacing pump or pulley, there is a tiny wiggle to this pulley after replacing the engine from an internal crankshaft break.. the 'new' engine had 164k on it, mine was at 268k.. other connection points going bad after a repair seems normal, but I want to do the correct one not a pointless swap. Any recommendations? Power steering fluid not leaking, feels fully functional still.

Mine is too , if you can afford a new pump , go for it , but maybe make sure first its the pump not steering rack . If your oil is ok , drive around and when you check the oil in the reservoir ,it should be bubbling up , if its not then the pump might be dead

Does the power steering pump on the Hondas needs power steering fluid from honda only or this is a myth?
@johnalbers64223 жыл бұрын
No myth, friend. My wife refilled her power steering pump, unbeknownst to me, when she thought she was accessing an HVAC line and lost a good amount of power steering fluid. She picked up this aftermarket brand, Royal Purple, and that became roughly two-thirds of the fluid in her car. 3 months later, I'm looking at this video because the power steering pump is dead as can be. The Honda fluid # recommended in the owner's manual is impossible to find because Honda made a new gen version for cars post 2005 that's backwards compatible. Available by 1, 3, or 12 bottles on Amazon.
