You may want to test the the power going to and from the switch with a test light. You could also test the power to the window motor when the switch is pressed to see if the motor has power to it. Hope this helps you out.

Mine came with Both the driver and passenger door set. Works fine everything bolted up great on driver side but now up is down and down is up. Is it possible that I put the passenger side on by mistake? It seemed to bolt in great I didn’t think it was the wrong side

I used the same process on my 2002 ford taurus, and it worked. The only problem is that it still won't roll up, like the old motor. All the other doors work fine, so it couldn't be a fuse. Is it the switch that rolls the window up and down? I know how to replace it, I just need to know if the switch is the problem.

Installed new motor as per your video, and although no tape will hold the window up for long in 113 heat in Las Vegas, I was able to get the motor installed. Motor works fine, and window goes up fine, but shutters when it starts to come down. the shutter stops as the window comes down. Any ideas?

I have a 2005 F1 50. I purchased the motor and after looking at your video noticed mine does not have that small gear with the teeth on it. Will I have to take it off of the old motor and place in on the new one. I figured I should check first before I get started on something that I won't be able to finish. Thanks

There might be some type of adjustment inside the door that you can make. You may also want to double check everything to see if the regulator is connected the right way.

Do you need to grease the regulator while it is out of the door.

+Cfass1 You should not have to, but it all depends on the condition. If there is some resistance in the mechanism then you can put a little grease on it. Just keep in mind that grease will collect dirt and debris, so you do not want to use too much! 1aauto.com

You may want to remove the door panel and inspect the window regulator to see if the cable has broke.

In the 99 you can just take the motor off without removing everything its a three minute job
