Wish Ford made the shroud a two piece and basically electric fans from factory lol but it was 97 or around there . Still thanks for the video it help plenty and , new water pump, hoses and clutch she's running smooth at 307,000miles 5.4

Man, that truck was all sorts of bubba'd. Broken fan blades, broken fan clutch, backyard "Cold Air Intake"... Crappy lift. Ahaha

1:30 or you can put a flathead under the widest part to lift it a little creating slight pressure around the screw so it unscrews correctly

I like the extended hex section on your replacement clutch mounting female. You can get a real wrench on it.

so if the fan is not spinning then should I replace it for a new fan or is the fan motor the thing to replace? My f150 heats when iddling having the AC on, but it doesn't when running

My 99 with 200k never overheats ,, but the fan is so loose it sqeaks at cold start up , goes away when warm

Out of curiosity, why did you need to remove the fan shroud when you were able to get the fan out without removing it? Should you not be able to put the fan back in without removing the shroud?

Hi I've been watching videos and thank you, can you please reply have a question about the fan clutch I don't know if it's good or bad, when I move the fan clutch I cannot move it at all a lot of resistance so is that good or bad

+Robert Torres Thanks for watching! The AC compressor pulley should just be spinning free, but the clutch should be stationary. It takes a lot to engage it, and would be difficult to do by hand.

Working on a mini bus and replacing the drivers AC pump fyi it's at the bottom I have to take the fan shroud and the fan off to get if off I'll update when I get it out... After i murder my boss
