Thanks for taking the time to make this great video. I do have some questions though- No need for jack stands? No need to bleed the system or add fluid to the reservoir? I'm up in New York and my Magnum has seen a few winters, and it saw a few years where it sat more than it moved. I'm really worried my rotors are rusted on and that my e-brake shoes are a disaster. I do know about the crummy lug nuts though. The tire place destroyed the shells on mine with an impact wrench. You can carefully chisel the shells apart with a screwdriver to get to the core. You should be able to use pliers to pull enough of the shell out to get a socket on the core. After that it's simple to swap the OEM cores for some nice solid, stainless steel lugs.

Put your grease in the boot lol. I also dont recommend white lithium grease . Use a good hi heat grease like Lucas or red,green tac grease.

What type of grease did you use? Will any grease work?
@cb360fan7 жыл бұрын
It's brake caliper grease. Don't use any other kind of grease. Any auto parts store will have it.

No, Caliper Grease. Rookies use Anti-Sieze. SMH. If you can get the extreme temp. Its purple in color. Make sure u lube the guide pins and dont over torque them.

Man . Wire wheel the clips so your new shoes dont do what his old ones did and wear one side . Clean all the rust and ceap off the clips then use caliper grease on the mating surfaces. I also grease my piston boot a d backs of my pads.
