When using EBC you shouldn't install the OEM plates over the pads.

I just followed the manual EBC did not mention anything that they shouldn't be used

My EBC pads for my bike specifically stare to fit any shims if they are fitted to the OEM pads.

@@mattyb7736 Just reporting what EBC UK and Asia told me and is clearly on their website at the time as the pads are thicker.
