How to replace Renault Megane 2 daytime running light bulb

As for most of the cars as well for Renault Megne II daytime running lights time to time burn out, since on Renault it is no that easy to replace low beam headlights, especially of you do it for the first time I kind a made video how to do to while ago:

But I didnt make a video how to replace small 12V 5W - W5W daytime running lights
So here on this video I am showing how to do it and to replace these lights you wont need any tools except extra light bulb as well it is not that hard to do especially if you dont have too big hands and you have seen this video so you know what to expect, so here it is, I hope this video will be useful for you, thanks!

I used this video to do mine. I was on the other side though. I had to move the screenwash tube and overflow tube for the header bottle to get enough room. Also i found it easier to get the bulb back in by guiding it from the front of the headlamp. Otherwise your hand is just searching in a void.

What is the easiest and fastest way to replace the bulbs from the front turn signals from the passenger? Is there any easy way to do this?

I need to replace the side light but on the opposite side can I fit it by removing the cover on the inside of the wheel arch?

I don't know how you pulled a stunt like that, but I had to remove the battery and even then it was not easy.

They are sidelights not daytime running lights

They are both during daytime , cheers :) during daytime I have to use by law daytime running lights or headlights or both :)

@@JUrtanschannel its still not a drl. Newer cars have drls which are mostly led, but if not, its at least 21 watt bulb. 21!!! Not a 5 watt little bulb. 5w bulbs are called parking lights and should only be used when parked on a road at night. Of course they come on with headlights, thats the way they are designed, but they are not DRLs. If you dont have a drl (you dont, in megane 2) then you should use the headlight (by law!!!). 5w cant be seen in daytime, are you crazy?😂😂😂

@@zoltanv7289 i get you, but in Europe it is called as well driving lights, not just parking lights and you are legally allowed to drive with only those small lights during daytime, during nightime you cant go by them, you have to use front headlights

@@JUrtanschannel wrong. Im from europe as well and i have studied these laws. You should either use your headlights or drl. Parking lights cant be used on a moving vehicle. Its the same law in the whole EU. Driving lights are not a thing, americans started calling parking lights driving lights. European law knows PARKING LIGHTS (5W) and DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (21W). drl could only be used duribg daytime INSTEAD OF HEADLIGHT, PARKING LIGHTS SHOULD ONLY BE USED WHEN PARKED in nighttime. You cant argue with facts my friend. Just turn on your headlights if you dont have a factory drl (2011-) ;)

Ok, I agree, I learnt smt new from you, but any way not in all EU it is mandatory to drive with DRL or HL on during daytime, u can drive without lights on at all..

What a nightmare. Removing air hose and cover was easy enough but the bulb holder felt impossible to move without causing damage. Leaving this job for a paid professional to sort out.

On left side is easy remove parking bulb, but on right side is very complikate🙄
