Dang shops, man!!! People are just trying to survive!! $484 sound like they were charging 2 hours of labor. Plus parts and shop fees. 😑

That is an idiotic quote. Even though those stupid end links cost something like $120 per today (2024). They’re charging you $120 labor and shop costs per side for a 15-20 min per side job.

*The bottom nut and joint/threads will ALWAYS be seized. So, cut it off with a hand saw and metal-cutting blade or a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade.* *Then, use a dremel or a drill with a tiny 1.5 inch or 2 inch diameter cut-off disc to get the rest of the joint shaft/threads out of the sway bar mounting hole*.

Thanks for the video. My one owner 2007 Sienna with 132k miles is making the clunking sound upfront. The sway bar feels loose by hand so I will try to tackle this my self.

Hey PM! Thank you, that was very informative and simple at the same time. Is it recommended to replace both sides at the same time? I’m in a tight spot right now and can only afford one of the bars until next week.

You're welcome, glad to help! Yes, it is recommended to do both at the same time. That being said, I was in a similar situation when I did this one, so I only changed the one. The other one started to fail (clunk) within 3 months! So now I've replaced that one, too. Good luck, and all the best!

I need help I got that radio you reviewed and installed on that handa accord well I installed it and the heat works for the AC but there’s no cold air anymore

Glad you got the radio! Hope you like it so far! For the AC, check a couple of things: if you have dual climate control, DON'T use the y-cable that came with the kit! Also, you may need to change the canbus settings, to select your vehicle. If you didn't see it already, here is a link on how to change those. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5C1io2XnNOBrqc If it's still not working after that, I recommend you contact the manufacturer, they are quite responsive. Good luck 👍!

my sway bar needs to be replaced, but the suspension is jamming the removal. How do I lift the up the exposed back of the tire without putting the car down? where do I use the jack without causing damage

How many Stabilizer Bar Link are required: one or two? Left and right? Thanks
@PracticalMechanic

Two. One for the left and one for the right. The left and right are identical.

just got quoted 400 for this but after seeing the cost for the parts and extra stuff i need to buy to fix it like wrenches and stuff i just decided to pay the 400. i would have fixed it if i already had the extra parts. maybe if it happens again but it literally lasted 15 years without a fix so hopefully this one last a good while again. but anyways good video.
