Saw another video where he took out the radio to allow access to the sensor. Just as an fyi thing... also, is it necessary to remove the vent ducts or would they follow the dash panel when removed? Or would they get caught up on something... asking before I replace that small item.

I had also seen videos showing removing the radio, but in my truck, removing the radio would not have given me enough room. And yes, I had to remove the vent ducts first. They came out and went back in very easily though. Good luck with yours.

The sensor should work with both sunlight or bright lights. On cloudy days though my truck has always switched over to the nighttime lights. It evidently needs to be very bright in order for it to go into the daytime lights.

as soon as i saw dash had to be removed i ran far away. no way im going to take apart a 23 year old dash and not have it fall apart on me.

You can replace it by takin the radio out its less space but its better then takin whole damn bash

@@christopherhendricks4369 my dash is broken si ill replace it wen i get new dash then again you can de the signal mod get rid of your DRL and turn them into turnsignal meanin you gona have whole buttom as turnsignal look it up
