Thanks! My original battery corroded after 4 years and randomly stopped working this morning. It was so bad that the wires were stuck to the terminals and had to be pryed off. I also learned that different cars have different size car batteries and I originally got the wrong battery size. Had to go back to buy an H6 group size.

Those H6 batteries have vent holes, one near the + terminal and the other near the - terminal. The rubber battery vent tube (at the - end... missing on this car) should be replaced and the + vent hole should have the vent plug (comes with new battery) installed to prevent that corrosion. The tube costs about $12 and is well worth it.

Do you feel using dielectric grease is of added value?

My original battery still good I'm at 80k will my 2018 camry give me any warning or anything dash light i don't want to chance getting stranded. Neither do i want to replace battery if my got years left

You can reverse the battery like that no problem

I guess cleaning the corrosion off that bracket would’ve added another $50 to the bill
