How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter on a Ford Focus (2009-2018)

Replacing a cabin air filter on these cars is pretty simple and you only need a couple tools. If you have a T20 torx bit (highly recommended), you can change a cabin filter in any Focus model from 2009 -2018.

However, keep in mind that some ford focuses of those years are "not equipped" with cabin air filters. A quick look under the glove box tells you for sure. The ones without the filter look more like just a fan houseing without the attachments in the video. fyi

Pro tip. Explain where you start (passenger front right). Dont jump ahead in ur recording too much, zoom out to show broad area for general orientation. Show complete vid recording of troublesome things like the squishin in of the filter.

This looks like the inside of mark 3, which would be 2011 to 2018 or whereabouts. 2005-2010 was the mark 2. Just want to save others the time as I have an 09 and came here looking for that process until I realized the interior looked more like my 2013 escape.

In my 2008 focus, the filter is on the driver's side, and its tucked behind gas pedal so it would be even more annoying to replace
