Can't thank you enough. 2015 model. One item of confusion, the gasket, but I just mimicked you and BAM. Most difficult step was getting the fuel line bushing into the tan......old age and arthritis. Started on the second pull and runs like new!

I went step by step and still managed to get the run switch backwards. So after i fixed that, put the air filter on and put the gas back in, pushed the bulb about six times and she cracked right up. Best instructive video thanks brother for taking it slow for we mechanically challenged people.

Thanks for this video! I've had my PB-250 sitting for over a year+, not able to get it running, primer not getting any gas, etc...and being lazy/not getting it fixed. Saw this video, picked up a cheap carb kit on Amazon, followed this step-by-step, and boom...fired right up. Save me some cash and headaches. Thank u!

Thanks for the vid! Friend gave me this blower that their previous house owner left behind. It ran on full choke, but that's it. Who knows what the technically-exact problem was (I think it was the actual throttle on the carb), but for a $25 carb kit to replace everything it saved more than that in time spent adjusting high or low speeds, testing for leaks in the fuel or vent lines, etc. Much appreciated.

Just replaced a carb on an Echo SRM 211 trimmer with a similar replacement kit. Looks like my Echo PB 201 blower's pretty much the same deal as what you've got going on here.with your model. Purchased a HIPA kit for the 201 off Amazon. Cool thing is most of these kits (from several different manufacturers) include all the stuff you show here; carb, air filter, line, fuel filters, etc, all of which if purchase individually at your local Home Depot, Ace Hardware of similar retailer would cost WAY more. No, it's not OEM but for the price/performance at least for me, it's an unqualified no-brainier. Thanks to 'Fix It Now' for this very instructive video as well as Google for leading me hear, KZbin and last but not least, Amazon (you're welcome, Amazon)

Look between the four carb screws on side of engine. There is a plastic grommet that you need to remove to get at the adjustment screw. Use a screw or a punch to remove plastic grommet. Start engine and use a very small screw driver turn it to the left until it stops bogging. No carb needed.

People keep buying carbs needlessly when all they have to do is uncover the 2 adjustment screws. Not only that but replacing them with junk Chinese carbs that hardly work. All 2 cycles need carb adjustments as they age.

Thanks for the video. Very clear and well done. I did the replacement and it started once. I was unable to get it started again. It was leaking some fuel some fuel off the front by the exhaust before the repair and some after the repair. Any ideas, or is it time to buy a new one? I did have it at a shop and they said it was the carb so I bought the kit and replaced it. Thanks for any feedback.

Mines a goner changed the carb Spark plug Cleaned the resister Finally did a compression test it’s at 25 psi Next time is re ringing the piston found it on Amazon for $16 Total investment so far 16 for piston ring $20 for carb and lines kit , way better than paying $200 for a new one . Oh p.s the vacuum screw that allows it to open it it’s not completely engaged it won’t start so make sure the tab if fully closed .

Jackson Cruz actually I have bought 3 different ones all claiming to have the mini D that’s needed however all have failed! They just spin but no adjustment! I know sometimes they fill either with a plug or sometimes epoxy in hole! The later rendering no chance of adjusting. I am pretty much done myself experimenting! Hell its cost me more then a new carb.. lol I think I’m gonna stick with Stihl they clearly are the best and I guess they trust we are plenty capable of being able to make our own adjustments it’s too bad oh well I’ll find a buyer somewhere or will just part it out! Jackson Cruz I was going to look into doing the same maybe using a drill bit to just make a bigger hole and then maybe get a dremel to slice a slit but it appears to be a very small needle head that has that D shape! I also did a lil research on the needles as well and partstree actually is listening one of them as NA ( not available) I’m done lol like I say Stihl seems to be one of the few left allowing high and low adjustments!! It’s too bad how our society has become a throw away! Yes Stihl cost more but at least ya can work on them! I just hate the idea I have to buy a new carb when it could be something as simple as a adjustment
