That's one way to do it. Don't know how long that took you but you can also remove the clips and screws on top of the front grill trim and the 2 screws under the headlights. Then you can just pull the whole headlight/signal light assembly off and get to those screws WAY easier than the way you did it. I would say maybe between 5 and 10 minutes to get both sides removed.
