Check your evap purge valve. Super easy fix. Check and see if you have any check engine codes

One question, did a notification on your gauge cluster pop up saying check fuel fill inlet pop up while the problem was occurring? I just replaced mine and it disappeared as soon as I started it up now just waiting for that check engine light to disappear. I’ve had multiple problems back to back. First it was the purge valve and then this. So hopefully I solved the problem

No bro ecos have a turbo contected to the catch can which gts don’t have, it’s just a problem on the eco boosts

Mark, were you able to get this part and replace it on your mustang? I have a 2017 ford mustang ecoboost premium. The part on the car at the moment is BU5A-9F972-BA The link takes me to the one in the comment here. However instead of BA it says CA at the end. Just wanting to reach out and see if this part fit your vehicle model?
