So what was the reason that u replaced the intake? Did u have the 2015 code? Have a 09 CC two different shops say there is a crack in intake and 2000$ to replace mine is out of warranty do u think I should just go ahead w the replacement of the intake??

I got codes of P2293 and P0304 for my 2010 AUDI A4 B8 Avante TFi. The number 4 injector is stuck open. I bought the injectors and then watched this video. Thanks! This video let me know to take it to a professional. The B8 has the same engine, but the VW is transverse mounted.

Only the bracket under the intake was hard. The rest was pretty straightforward.

I did this. The video is wrong in one, small way,. The bracket (support) underneath) is really hard to unscrew at the bottom. A friend at the dealer gave me a hint, that was spot on. Remove the throttle body first. Using various size extension you can get to all four bolts. Once this is done, the lower bolt (double square) is reachable from the top (again using various extensions, and swivels). Installation is the reverse.

For the fuel line that needs to be removed. Do we need to depressurize it? If so how do we do that?

just open it slow. There is very little fuel loss. Wear safety glasses and don't smoke. :)

AJ they have an updated manifold for this vehicle. So you would check with your dealer on the part numbers. Also on the driver side of the intake there’s an lever that goes bad that controls the intake runner. So basically there’s a flapper inside the manifold that breaks that controls airflow through the manifold.

Hahaha. What a joke. I got a p2015 code intake manifold sensor failure on my 2009 vw Jetta Wolfsburg and found this video. Obviously not a minor problem by a long shot. Well beyond do t yourself. This is gonna be expensive.

Correct! Took to the dealer and got a new manifold under warranty. It expires dec 2018 for my car - 10 years, so got it in under the wire.
