I have a back ceiling light that stays on after I close the doors and turn off the rest of the car's electricity. To save the battery, I switched off the automatic interior lighting. I am going to pursue it as an improperly installed socket, like the one you had trouble with. (It may be the same location.) Thanks so much!

Yes..same bulbs...but covers are NOT the same....I wish I could get the plastic lens off.

for mine the socket poped out and thats it, cant put led in it because it keeps poping. is there a way to pull out entire assembly and just plug it that way? like remove entire plastic piece with reading light also

Can anyone help me with my problem, so the light that he is changing in his sienna that has the round light and the square one, so I tried removing the bulb of the square fixture but i didn’t have pliers so I removed the reflective plate and I got the bulb removed but when I put in my replacement bulb the female connector socket had poped out of the black plastic holding so there is no way for my to get to it because there minimal space and when I try to put the bulb in the socket keeps moving around, can I remove the whole plastic casing that is holding both bulbs? Please help, I don’t want to damage it and try removing it but I’m sure it is possible to remove it!
