How to replace the main wiring harness part # DC93-00822A on your Samsung dryer

I need to replace one connector due to some lint catching on fire. A small piece of wire burnt some of the jacket. Is it safe to cut off the small section and splice it back together? Or should I replace the entire harness?

My connector for my door latch switch shorted out. What type of connector do I need to replace it with. Had no issues finding a new door latch switch but the connectors nonexistent.

Samsung does not sell any of the wiring connectors separately. They are only sold as part of the wiring harness assembly.

Could you tell me what that grey connector is for at @9:38 ? Mine has a yellow and white wire and it's just hanging there unplugged. I see a " small door" next to the terminalvblock on the rear of the dryer but cant imagine what it is for or what it is called.

We aren't 100% sure, but we think it is for testing at the factory. If anyone knows for sure, please let us know!

mine is missing the black connecter pin by the green single pin one is this normal

Wiring harnesses are usually different for each model. You will need to look up the harness for your model and see if you can find pictures that show that connector.

We have found it easiest to do it this way and less risk of damaging the door.
