I rarely ever comment on videos, but this is excellent! One of the best I've seen for comprehensiveness, explanation, and walkthrough. Great job!

Thanks! I took apart a scratch and extremely dented special new dryer and had to use a hammer to bang out the dent. Drum is no longer rubbing and i put it all back together with no spare parts! 😂

Thank you great detailed video. I watched a few of your other videos about the heating element also great. So I already took out my drum and didn’t note the orientation of the baffles. It’s a samsung dve45n5300w/a3 is this standard/the same on all Samsungs or something that would be specific and noted in the manual? Thank you
@PartsDr6 ай бұрын
You can check the manual to see if it shows anything. If yours is similar to the model that we show in the video, you should be safe to copy that orientation.

I need help. I have been working on my dryer for 4 days now. I have replaced the fuse checked all the thermostat replaced the heating element 3 times. They all show good. I have checked and cleaned out the lint ran a vent cleaner from my dryer to the out side of my house. Checked my mother board and I am getting 240 volts going to the heating element. My dryer was giving me the HE error but now it runs 2 cycles with no problem than just won’t heat anymore. I am lost and very frustrated on where to look next to try to fix this issue. Can you help me please.

What drill is that you're using? I assume it's lower torque/appliance safe and I could use something like that.@@PartsDr

@@nathang4921 It is the Milwaukee M12 FUEL impact driver. It has 4 power settings, and if you set it to power level 1 or 2 it is lower enough power to work on most appliances safely. www.homedepot.com/p/M12-FUEL-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-Hammer-Drill-and-Impact-Driver-Combo-Kit-w-2-Batteries-and-Bag-2-Tool-3497-22/320268525

@@PartsDr the heating element broke so I had to replace it. Amazing they didn’t engineer a way to easily access the heater without having to rip the whole dryer apart.

Definitely wear gloves while doing this, I cut my hand pretty badly right before the sharp edges warning popped up.

Thanks for sharing! Yes, gloves are a good idea!

This was a lifesaver for me! Also your reply to someone else about the exhaust flowing freely is very helpful. Initially, making sure the moisture sensor isn’t clogged with dust will keep it from running too hot and not shutting off when it is supposed to.

Front panel will not lift even after removing all the necessary bolts. Edit: some use of a small pry bar was eventually necessary. I had to work it under the top flange of the front panel and then slowly move toward each of those catches, one at a time of course. But it did come off. Thanks for the video!

That is impressive at your age! Check to make sure your exhaust venting is flowing freely, sometimes that can cause the heating element to burn out prematurely.
