How to Replace the Rear Struts (shock absorbers) in an Audi/VW

This video demonstrates how to remove and replace a rear strut. This video should apply to many Audi/VW vehicles around the 2001 model year.

Besides the kit you will need the following tools:
-Torque wrench
-Ratchet
-Car Jack/jack stands
-Tire iron
-16mm socket
-17mm socket
-17mm wrench

In my experience, some people use bushing grease or something similar to eliminate squeaking? Any issues here with that? Thanks for sharing! 🍻

Wish I could tell you. I got rid of that car a few weeks after putting that suspension and driveline parts in. I can tell you I use chassis grease on other suspension installs and it does well. I use Mobil 1 synthetic high temp.
