How to Replace the Spark Plugs | Mk6 Volkswagen GTI (2010-2014)

Hey Red, I recently picked up my GTI about 8 months ago. I had to do a complete interior/exterior detailing/paint correction on it because the place I got it from wanted a quick flip. I noticed your seats looked like mine in the video, a dark grey and a little faded. I recommend picking up a Bissell little green carpet cleaner. I brought my plaid seats back to life in 1 afternoon. Keep up the good work, not a lot of content of people working on this car anymore.

Most modern spark plugs come pre gapped when you buy them per VIN. It’s always a good idea to double check the gap though and compare it with the vehicles specification. Thanks for subscribing!

One of my connectors doesnt seem to be snapping in all the way seems broken its a used car is that a big deal

@@luketexas Most of the time if you push it down all of the way, it will make a good enough connection. Especially since all of the connectors are kind of held in place by each other. If you start having misfires on that cylinder when you scan for faults, that may be the culprit and the connector should be replaced. Hello, i have a question, is it normal to be a bit low on oil when i near the 5000 km at my oil change? Golf gti 2011

Good question. Yes, it is normal. These engines are allowed to consume up to 1 quart every 1000 miles. If it consumes more than that, you are excessively burning oil and a repair would need to be made to correct that. Just need to make sure you top it off every so often.
